Yari DeLeon Actress | Animal Rights Advocate
Yari DeLeon is an accomplished actress and a passionate advocate for animal welfare. Her love for animals extends beyond the stage, as she has personally rescued hundreds of street cats in need of care and compassion. After providing them with necessary medical attention, Yari successfully placed these feline friends in loving homes.
As the founder of The Deleon Foundation, Yari continues to fight for animals who cannot fend for themselves. Her mission is to raise awareness about the challenges faced by these forgotten souls and ensure they receive the love and care they deserve.

Creative Director
Aaron Michael McElligott is an artist and documentary filmmaker capturing the journey of The Deleon Foundation.
He has been an essential contributor to our mission for many years, playing a crucial role in our fundraising efforts.
He is devoted to a vegetarian lifestyle in the name of his love for all living creatures.
GARY KASKEL
Treasurer
GARY KASKEL has been an animal rescuer, advocate and activist for more than 30 years. He was the co-founder of the NYC Shelter Reform Action Committee, president of United Action for Animals (2003-2007), Director of Special Projects at the Los Angeles office of The Humane Society of the United States (2007-2011), book author of Monsters and Miracles-Henry Bergh’s America and producer of feature documentary, Animal People-the Humane Movement in America. He estimates he has personally rescued and placed more than 500 dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits and chickens in his lifetime.
