The Forgotten ones.

Who we are…

Deleon Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit rescue Tax deductible located in Los Angeles, CA. Our focus is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome sick, injured, abandoned and forgotten dogs and cats. Who has a soft spot for cats that have been abused, neglected, injured and forgotten.  Many of the cats we save require costly, life-saving medical care.

Cats with skin cancer, FIP, HIV, and Calicivirus. Dog with pneumonia or parvo, dogs that have been hit by cars, dogs with severe skin infections, dogs that have been starved, or left to fend for themselves on the street, moms and puppies that have been abandon by their former owners. All of these dogs/cats are given a second chance under The Deleon Foundation. Without your compassion, this wouldn’t be possible.

Each year, approximately 920,000 shelter animals are euthanized (390,000 dogs and 530,000 cats). The number of dogs and cats euthanized in U.S. shelters annually has declined from approximately 2.6 million in 2011.  This decline can be partially explained by an increase in the percentage of animals adopted and an increase in the number of stray animals successfully returned to their owners.
